Placement: View and Connect an Application to Candidates
This video provides a comprehensive guide on managing applications within a system, covering searching, refining, matching, and advancing applications. Key processes detailed include: • Searching and Refining Applications: The video begins by demonstrating how to search for a specific applicant by name, for example, "David Ry". It emphasizes the importance of selecting the correct search type to avoid errors. To refine search results, users learn to utilize the filters button and apply various available filters . The "Group I" feature is introduced for categorizing data within search results, and users are encouraged to combine both filters and groups for optimal outcomes. For efficiency, the system allows users to save custom searches for quick, one-click access. These saved searches, along with frequently used filters, can be quickly accessed or saved through the favorites menu. • Matching Applications to Candidates: A significant part of the video focuses on matching an application to a candidate. Users can click the "check match" button to instantly determine if an applicant fits any candidate detail. If a match is found, a "connect" button will appear, indicating the successful match. The video shows how to view the matched candidate's details and how to store related information. To manage all candidate applications and track their progress, users can switch to the application tab. The process of seamlessly linking an application to a candidate is achieved by clicking "connect", which ensures that the candidate and applicant details match. The option to "revoke" a connection is also available, allowing users to withdraw or cancel a link if necessary. • Advancing an Application: The video also explains how to progress an application through its stages. To initiate this, users must click on the next stage to process the application. Should an error be encountered during this process, the application sub status becomes a required field to resolve the issue and allow the application to move forward. This sub status offers two distinct values: a "positive" sub status indicates that the application is ready to advance to the next stage, while a "negative" sub status signifies that the application cannot proceed. Additionally, users are provided with the option to input remarks for the chosen sub status, which can offer further context or explanation for the selected status.
