Placement: Using Filter and Group properties
1. Searching and Refining Applications: The video begins by explaining how to search for an application. • You can start by searching for a specific applicant, for example, by name like "David Ry". • It is crucial to ensure you search for the correct type as the system allows searching for multiple things. • To refine your view and concentrate on the most relevant applications, you use the filters button. • Applications can be filtered using different available filters shown on the screen. • The "Group I" feature assists in categorizing data within the search results. • For optimal results, you can combine both filters and groups to achieve your desired outcome. • To streamline your workflow, you can save your custom searches for quick, one-click access to frequently used filters. • To manage these saved searches and work more efficiently, you can access your favorites. • The favorites menu allows you to quickly access or save your most-used searches and filters. 2. Advancing an Application: In a separate but related process, the system outlines how to move an application through its various stages. • To initiate the advancement of an application, you click on the next stage to process it. • During this progression, an error may be encountered. • To resolve such an error and successfully move the application forward, the application sub status is a required field. • This sub status field offers two distinct values, each with a clear meaning: ◦ A "positive" sub status indicates that the application is ready to move into the next stage. ◦ A "negative" sub status signifies that the application cannot proceed to the next stage. • Additionally, you are provided with the option to input remarks for the chosen sub status, allowing for further context or explanation.
